Our first stop in Colombia was the tourist-heavy Cartagena, followed by the much more isolated (and quiet!) Santa Cruz de Mompox. Despite their differences, both towns have some very pretty architecture, and in both of them we took a boat trip either through mangroves or wetlands to see some local wildlife.
